FAQ

I've been working professionally for over twelve years. The fun thing about photography is that there are new things to learn every time you do another shoot.

All of my packages include a large selection of high-resolution files delivered to you through a web gallery (easy for sharing, downloading, and printing). There are no hidden costs. You can make your own prints and albums, or order them through me. Every photo you receive has already been edited as part of my workflow and personal 'look' which is part of my brand.

What an excellent question! (It's like I'm coming up with these myself). While it's impossible to foresee every disaster, I do my best. I have backup equipment, shoot on dual cards simultaneously, work with redundant hard drives, and have a clone of myself who lives under our house waiting for the day he is called into service. Ok, fine, there's no clone.

I've been a Nikon guy from the start. Sorry if that breaks your heart. Currently shooting Nikon D750 and D850 with a variety of primes & zooms. Talk to me directly for all the nerdy details.
For the majority of my work, I use natural light these days, but it's possible I'll set up off-camera lighting if the situation (or my creative instinct) demands it.

Um. No. That's gross.

For nearly all of my contracts, I work alone. However, in some specific circumstances, a second shooter can be required. We work out the specifics (hours and prices) for this on a case-by-case basis.

In all seriousness, I have worked with some amazing clients who have become friends over the years. I love seeing creativity and care in the details of a wedding. And the authentic emotion of people having an amazing day is what makes this line of work worth all the pressure and hours of editing. So basically...if you are easygoing, creative, madly in love...or just a generally great person, we should definitely connect.

Mais bien sûr.

Glad you asked. Well... should you hire me? That's for you to figure out. Have a look around here and see if you think we are a good fit. Let's be honest: there's an amazing selection of talented, experienced photographers in Ottawa. But if you like the look of my photos, if you meet me and think "I'd like to spend an inordinate amount of time with that guy on one of the biggest days of my life", if you're all about a no-stress but professional vibe on your wedding day...then give me a shout.
